I won...I'm a CleanMama winner @ TidyMom.net

I am so excited.  After just blogging with my mommyblog over the last couple of weeks I submitted my name into a giveaway and I WON!!  I've already purchased one product before from Clean Mama Printables at Etsy and loved Becky's products.  One of the blogs I stalk, Tidy Mom, had the giveaway for $50 towards Becky's Etsy shop.  How excited I was when I checked my email this morning and found out that I won from Cheryl.  Can't believe I won!!!  I'm such an organizing freak that I get frustrated when I can't come up with a good plan....it's very irritating.  Now that I have one, I will take Becky's work and make life easier.

Thank you both to Cheryl @ Tidy Mom and Becky @ Clean Mama Printables!!!

Alphabet Photo Album-First attempt

Since Aiden is starting to talk more and loves looking at books, I have decided to do an Alphabet picture book.  I am going to take pictures of him with items that represent each letter of the alphabet.  This project may take a while since the lil' man is like his father and can't stay still very long.  I've decided as he is playing with certain items I would begin clicking as many pictures as I possibly can.  I mean, there has to be at least one good picture out of everything I can't.  He is a pretty photogenic child.  After I complete this project I am planning on moving towards a family photo album for Aiden as well.  Since we live far from many of our relatives, I want him to know who they are.  More to come on that.

This morning Aiden was eating one of his fave foods right now, mandarine oranges.  I figured, why not work on the letter "O" today.  Here are just a few of the moments I caught.  Now to decide which picture to use...

Sensational Saturdays

Most of the time I would have to say my Saturday's are SENSATIONAL!!  It's a break from work, spending time with the hubby and the other lil man of the house.  If I were to look back on most Saturdays, I do say that I spend most of the time in the early mornings cleaning and finding something to do with the family the rest of the day.

Well, this Saturday has bypassed exhaustion.  I'll back up to what made this weekend crazy.  On Thursday my husband was laid off of work.  After 6 years there was a business decision to let go quite a few individuals.  The hard part is my husband and I have both been working there.  Now I will be going to work everyday and he has to look for a job.  We have been talking about moving out of AZ for a while.  My hopes is that we have the chance to move to TEXAS.  At this point, we could have a chance of doing so.  About 2 weeks ago we finally got an offer on our house.  Needless to say, as hard as it is to know my husband is out of work, we feel that all of these things are opening another chapter in our lives.

Today we had a garage sell.  My husband loves to go to auctions and therefore we have accumulated so many items.  If by chance he gets a job out of state and our house sells quickly, that leaves me to pack up the house.  I've moved out of apartments several times but the rooms are small so there is not a lot to pack up.  We moved into this house less than 2 months after we got married.  We have 3 1/2 years worth of items that are in our home.  I am not looking forward to packing up the house, but I would much rather start now then wait until the last minute.

Anyone who has moved out of a house have any suggestions?  I'm huge on being organized but I think I am going to be overwhelemed.

Tangled Tuesdays

So I started this blog on a Monday so at least I started the day on the right foot.  I'm further along then the last time attempted to do a blog based on the fact I am on here two days in a row.  Other than attempting to start and complete tasks/crafts/recipes, etc. of the blogs I admire most on here, I do want to find an opportunity to share stories or ideas each day based on a theme.  Please feel free to comment and share your stories as well.  Tuesdays are designated as Tangled Tuesdays.  What the heck is Tangled Tuesdays? I'm sure you are asking yourself that question right now.  Well, I feel I am pretty good at planning and organizing, but at times my life seems to be tangled.  This is when I am going to discuss a new process I have tried or even why my life feels tangled and hopefully you followers can help me out.

My current dilemma is working on have breakfast and lunch ready each day for my husband and I to take to work.  We have many times taken a look at our bank statement and realized most of our purchases are towards eating out while at work.  I do have to say I am pretty lucky on the fact that my husband cooks, but since he does not know how to cook for just two, the same leftovers are boring after day 2 and 3 (ehhh....)!!  For those who have mastered my life's little tangle, please feel free to share some suggestions!!

It's ME!!! I'm here to see and do!!!

I have attempted to do a blog several times and each time I have been excited to get started.  Then life happens.  For me, I am a full-time wife of an amazing husband who is my love and encourages me to do things I will enjoy, a mother to currently 1 amazing little man who is the light of my life and employee.  There is no use going into detail about where I work…LOL!!!  I am a slave to the world more days then not and even more of a slave to myself by making a never ending to do list.  Which project do I want to take on next?  I find myself more times than not, wanting to be like other women I know.  The first person I want to be like is my mother.  She was a young stay at home mom beginning with me when she was 19 years old.  Within the first two years of my parents being married, my mom had my brother and I.  She learned to be a wife, a mother, a homemaker, a teacher, a doctor (what doctor kisses your scraped knee when your hurt), an artistic & creative individual, my best friend, and so much more.  I have seen what she has and can do.  I so much want to be like her.  My Aunt Jennifer is another great influence in my life.  I have had the opportunity to live with her and her family during a few of my college years.  Raising 5 boys, I was at times like a daughter to her.  She is someone that I look as to being a second mother.  She is an amazing cook and such a talented woman even though she never thinks she is.  She enjoys learning new things, reading books and working in her garden.  I have two wonderful, beautiful grandmothers who are not afraid to tell me like it is, put there arms around me when I need comfort and I am thankful for all of the things they have taught me even if they are not aware.  My younger sister is amazing and I know I do not tell her enough.  Although I completed my Bachelors degree, it took me almost 8 years to do so.  She is 7 years younger than me and went straight from high school to college, stayed at the same college (I transferred SEVERAL times) and is on track to graduate in the spring of 2012.  I am so proud of the woman she has become.  She makes good decisions, follows her heart and has become a very free spirited, talented, smart woman.  I love her dearly and admire her so much.  To all my beautiful friends out there, I can spend a day talking about each one of you.  Joyce, you are my best friend.  Thank you for always being there, even if its days, weeks or months between calls.  You know me so well!  Thank you to all my GRILZ (Natty, Lindsey, Amy, Heather and Diane)!!  My early twenties were amazing because of you and I am grateful for you to be in my life.  Gosh, my list can go on and on.  At this point I can just add names but it would not do these individuals justice!!  You know who you are and you know how much I love you!!
All of this being said, there are so many things that this mommy see’s and even more that she wants to do!!  My attempt at blogging will continue with many attempts to do projects of sorts that I see on other blogs.  At some point I hope to be creative enough along the way to have something new out there.  So, as we continue on, thank you for joining me an many attempts along the way.
